The project began with the decommissioning and removal of the existing boilers and flue systems. Once the old equipment had been safely removed, our engineers installed new Viessmann Vitodens 200-W commercial gas-fired boilers, together with purpose-built boiler frames, headers and associated pumps.
The installation also included new commercial flue systems, gas pipework, low-loss headers, isolation valves and system filtration. New inverter-driven pumps were fitted to improve circulation and allow the system to respond efficiently to changing heating demand.
As part of the wider plant room works, JCH London installed new electrical supplies, controls and local boiler isolation switches. The pipework and equipment were carefully arranged to provide a neat, accessible installation that can be serviced and maintained effectively in the future.
Once the mechanical and electrical works were complete, the new commercial heating system was fully tested and commissioned. The relevant plant commissioning certification, Building Regulations notification and manufacturer warranty registration were also completed.
