Solar water heating systems use free heat from the sun to warm domestic hot water. A Solar Thermal Hot Water system could save around 70% of the energy costs to heat our water.

In 2013 the government will launch phase 2 of the RHI (renewable heating incentive), this will make domestic installations more affordable and will see pay-back times cut in half. Phase 1 was aimed at commercial green energy installations and is already in effect.
