** For Commercial Certification our charges of £220 (£300 for out of hours) are for the first 3 appliances only and there is a £60 charge per appliance after this.

There is a minimum charge of one hour on all jobs, thereafter work is charged in 30 minutes increments. All rates exclude the cost of materials and are subject to 20% VAT.

Cancellation notice must be made by the client at least 48 hours in advance. After such period there is a late cancellation fee of £100+VAT plus travelling charges and congestion charge (where applicable).

For larger or planned works, written and verbal quotations are available from our gas safe engineers and plumbers or we can book an appointment for an estimator to assess your job. All quotations are subject to 20% VAT. On approval a deposit will be payable, JCH operate a 7 day cooling off period for all quotations. Should a quotation be cancelled after this period a minimum of 25% will be charged.

Surveys and certifications are payable on completion and any relevant forms will not be issued until full payment has been received.

Customers will not be charged for parking or the London congestion charge. The time engineers spend travelling to jobs in the London area will not be charged unless it is a last minute emergency booking where engineers will be taken from a different site, or if it is outside the London area in such case the fee will be £100 +VAT .

Materials supplied by JCH London will be charged at cost plus 20%. Collection of 30 minutes will be applied. Any charge will be agreed with the customer in advance.

An invoice will always be produced clearly showing a full description of work carried out – time started/time finished, a breakdown of the cost of labour, the materials used and the amount of the time-spent onsite.

Payment must be made in full by credit card, cheque or cash to the engineer upon completion of works.

Payment by credit card is subject to a 3% surcharge (no processing charge on debit card).

* Some estimates may incur a charge depending on the nature of the work, the area and the time of the appointment. Any charge made will be deducted from the final invoice.

Holiday Rates:

From Christmas Eve until 2nd January and over the Easter period Including Good Friday, Easter Sunday and bank Holiday Monday.
